One in a Million Award recipient: Charlotte Pollock

Where they are multiplying good: Newark, DE

How they are multiplying good: Girl Scouts depends on volunteers to bring programs to the girls. With so many women now in the workforce it is getting harder and harder to get adult volunteers to step up to lead a troop or work with the girls. Having Charlotte step in to take the place of one of these adults is priceless. She never hesitates to do what is asked of her often coming up with the ideas on how a badge should be presented. I believe Troop 421 is only in existence because Charlotte has stayed with the troop even after the Girl Scout council staff has moved on. Charlotte is very familiar with the Girl Scout program and is able to help the parents of troop 421 move forward.
