One in a Million Award recipient: Emma Kozel

Where they are multiplying good: Dover, DE

How they are multiplying good: Emma is a 13-year-old girl, who brought out her Grandmother's sewing machine at the very beginning of the stay-at-home orders and started making masks. A former neighbor had taught her how to use the machine a few years ago. After learning that she was sewing, that neighbor reached out to Emma to help her make masks for a hospital in Louisiana. She sent masks to that nursing staff who in turn, sent her a thank you note, which was very rewarding. She has made masks for the staff of a local, family owned restaurant, so they could continue doing business. Emma has provided masks for neighbors, some who are nurses, friends and family. She has made well over 100 masks in the past 2 months and has been asked to make 50 mask for a local school's 8th grade graduating class. Emma has given of her time and her skills to provide for other and I couldn't be more proud of her.
