How they are multiplying good: They are One in a Million. Since announcing the Stay at Home order, MOT Charter staff, administration and teachers have done a tremendous job organizing virtual learning lesson plans, creating zoom classrooms and keeping their students on track and engaged to finish the school year as scheduled. The MOT students have not missed a day of school and are still engaging in school lessons as they traditionally would do avoid disrupting their education. The have continued to engage students in school activities such as spirit week, classroom meetings and group projects. The principal starts each day with a supportive email that includes meditation and mental health resources, health and welfare resources and even the encouraging note about baking cookies on a rainy day. In addition to the continuing support of its students, the administration partnered with the food bank of Delaware to offer a pick-up site for those in need of food during this unique time. The school, as a whole, has truly been a blessing during this pandemic.
