How they are multiplying good: They are One in a Million. It is my pleasure to nominate New Castle County Government for a One In A Million Award for their service to all of their residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the beginning they remained open for business all across their departments serving the needs of all New Castle County residents. When the Governor called for the stay at home order the county employees quickly pivoted to some working remotely while others continued to provide the most essential services but continuing to keep ALL services available across the county. They were able to continue to hold meetings virtually and also put new ideas and innovations into effect that have provided stronger services to their constituents. A special shot out to the counties first responders and all they have done during the crisis.
