“VIA is not just something to put on a resume, rather it’s something that sparks a life-long commitment to community service”
St. Elizabeth's Vikings In Action Team has continued their commitment to multiplying good and fusing their Benedictine charisms into all of their service efforts. They hosted and partnered on many community service projects in support of local and national organizations with both monetary and in-kind service, with an overall financial impact of over $77,000 to the school and the local community. Some accomplishments included their 3rd Annual Day of Service project which ran school-wide (PreK3-12th) making Food Bags/Cold Weather Bags for the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware and Emmanuel Dining Room, posting inspirational messages on every student's locker in support of To Wear Love on Her Arms, organizing the 7th Annual Blue*Gold Handball Tournament to benefit Delaware Foundation for Reaching Citizens, and partnering with NOR Enterprises Turkey Drive which distributed over 6,000 turkeys across the state of Delaware in one day.
