The Sussex Technical High School Students in Action committee considers themselves “Ravens for a Cause” who spread their wings throughout the school and community to make a difference. They planned their entire school year focusing on their efforts to improve the lives of children.

Through food drives, collections for hurricane victims, clothing drives for an Indian reservation in Montana, Kick Butts Awareness Walk, Match of Dimes campaign, Jump Rope for Heart, and Down Syndrome awareness projects, students collected over 5,000 items, raised over $1,500, and logged over 3,000 service hours. Of their efforts, they say, “Participating in Multiplying Good Students In Action has challenged our members to not only investigate the needs of our community, but to take the action to fulfill those needs.”
